In 2023, Copenhagen will be UNESCO World Capital of Architecture.
Under the motto Copenhagen in Common, there will be a year-long series of events ranging from community picnics to open days in buildings normally closed to the public to a series of new pavilions on the waterfront.
The Danish Architecture Centre (DAC) takes visitors on a journey through the history of Danish architecture from the Viking Age to the present day. As part of its WCA title, Copenhagen will also host the UIA World Congress of Architects in July. (VisitDenmark)
