The mittens are connected with a button-on strap.

Wool has fantastic properties, for example, it keeps you warm even in humid conditions. 100% Merino wool has a very fine hair and is therefore very, very warm.
The four-layer mitten consists of one outer and three inner layers; the manufacturer therefore calls it “Varning Varma Vantar” (Warning, warm mittens)!

This is to emphasize that this glove is something special; it is, technically speaking, four different gloves in one.
Each "glove" has its own function. The air is trapped within and between the individual "gloves," providing the best possible warmth, because it is this trapped air that warms the glove.
Thanks to the four layers, the mitten is wind-resistant, which is better than windproof because the wind-resistant properties allow the hand to breathe.
