The Åre Chocolate Factory was founded in 1991 by Marina, Eva-Lena, and Marie. They picked blueberries for the blueberry chocolates, folded paper bags, and made all the chocolates by hand. This is how the trademark – the chocolate bag – was born, which has now been filled with handmade chocolates for over thirty years.

The three still run the business and all chocolates are still made by hand – preferably with regional raw materials from the mountains.
