Halo mini, which combines elegant light birch wood and black, is Valona of North 's most popular earring for many reasons. These charmingly minimalist earrings are perfect not only for brightening up everyday life but also as simple party jewelry. In addition to their small and delicate design, you can also incorporate a touch of playfulness: the jewelry gently sways with the movements of your head. Furthermore, the earrings' lightness makes them very comfortable to wear and doesn't put any strain on your earlobes.

The wooden part that forms the two small rings is made entirely of domestic, certified birch plywood, and the hooks are made of silver; silicone plugs are also included.

Halo collectible tires represent Valona's award-winning zero-waste design; the different-sized tires used in the models are cut from nested pieces, keeping the number of waste pieces to a minimum.

The Halo jewelry collection won the Finnish Craft Innovations Competition in 2016 and the FORM#2018 design award in Frankfurt.

The jewelry is safely dyed using Valona's proprietary dyeing technique, allowing the wood grain to shine through beautifully even through the color. The wooden part is made from locally certified birch plywood, making it a perfect ecological choice—even as a gift.

Due to their lightness, the earrings made of local, certified birch plywood are very comfortable to wear and do not put any strain on the earlobes.

Wearing instructions:
The earrings are very lightweight. We recommend using the included silicone ear plugs to prevent them from falling off.
You can also gently press on the ends of the silver hook to better hold the earring in place. Silver resists this kind of bending well.
Only put on your earrings after you have sprayed perfume or hairspray

Care instructions:
Wood is a natural material, and a slight darkening of color is one of its beautiful qualities. However, if you feel that your wooden jewelry has darkened too much over the years, you can clean and bleach the wooden parts with a baking soda mixture.
- Add a few teaspoons of baking soda to a small amount of water until a thick paste forms.
- Rub the wooden part carefully, for example with a toothbrush.
- Rinse it and pat it dry.
- Birch tolerates careful moistening well.
The hooks are made of sterling silver. If they darken over time, you can gently polish them with a small silver polishing cloth or towel. These are available at jewelry stores or well-stocked grocery stores.
