Camilla Läckberg , born in 1974, hails from Fjällbacka. She has sold over 30 million crime novels and thrillers worldwide and is Sweden's most successful author. With her company "Invest In Her," she supports projects for young women. Camilla Läckberg lives with her patchwork family in Stockholm.

Katrin Frey , born in 1972, studied literature in Würzburg, Freiburg, Tromsø, and Berlin and has worked as a literary translator since 2000. She has three children and lives with her family in Schleswig and Berlin. In addition to Stefan Ahnhem and Camilla Läckberg, she has translated works by Karin Alvtegen, Elsie Johansson, and Håkan Östlundh, among others, and co-founded the Junge Weltlesebühne (Young World Reading Stage) in 2011. Her translations of "Kerstin ist goldrichtig" (Kerstin is Gold Right) and "Einfach Kerstin" (Simply Kerstin) by Helena Hedlund were awarded grants from the German Translator's Fund in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
