The Puikko pattern (formerly Eskimo) has been part of Lapuan Kankurit's range since 2015; it was designed by Reeta Ek, who won 'The Young Designer of the Year' award in 2017.

The Puikko bag is made of easy-care 100% cotton. The bag is lightweight and sized appropriately for weekend trips and beach holidays. Thanks to the wide carrying straps, it also works well as a shopping bag. The bag has ties inside for closing it when needed.

This product is made of cotton. Most yarns are spun and dyed in Europe according to the REACH regulation and meet the requirements of the OEKO-TEX certification. Most of the cotton used by Lapuan Kankurit is also GOTS-certified.

Lapuan Kankurit 's strategy is to be responsible for the entire production process, from yarn to finished product. The majority of production is carried out in its own weaving mill in Lapua.

Lapuan Kankurit weaves Nordic designs inspired by pure and raw nature. High-quality materials, durability, and respect for the environment are what distinguish the Finnish company. Today, Lapuan Kankurit is run by the fourth generation.
