Michaela Fuchs roams her second home, visiting foodies, bakeries, and the world's northernmost brewery. She peers into the kitchens and learns the best recipes – from traditional 'summer soup' to 'Karelian pierogi' to delicious 'Runeberg tarts'. A unique culinary journey!
Michaela Fuchs (born 1974) studied communication design and has worked for renowned agencies and publishing houses for over twenty years. With a passion for editorial design, she primarily conceives and designs magazines, always on the lookout for captivating stories, interesting people, and fascinating images.
In addition to her work as a freelance graphic designer, she uses her talent for writing and photography to report on Northern Europe, Nordic cuisine, and her love of the Scandinavian lifestyle in magazines. Inspired by Astrid Lindgren's wise words: "Freedom means not having to do everything the same way other people do," Michaela Fuchs occasionally swaps Munich city life for rural life at the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland. Here, she not only recharges her batteries but also uses it as a studio to bring creative ideas and stories to life.
