Heartwarming: three times wintery Michel nonsense.
Even though snow covers all of Lönneberga, Michel is up to more mischief than any other boy in all of Småland. Yet he always wants the best. Like the time he invited Stolle-Jocke and the other poorhouse residents to a Christmas feast in Katthult. And what can Michel do about the fact that his father is in such an unfortunate position during the snowball fight, and that a big kissing match breaks out in Katthult? But when Alfred becomes seriously ill and a snowstorm rages, Michel proves he's stronger and braver than any of the adults.
Astrid Lindgren's Michel with the flaxen hair, illustrated by the Swedish artist Björn Berg, still makes young families' hearts sing and tears of laughter today.
Nostalgic anthology for the 100th birthday of Michel illustrator Björn Berg.
A reunion with the original Swedish illustrations.
Making a mess with Michel: still hits the spot with children’s humor today.
Three stories from wintry Småland for cozy reading aloud. Timelessly beautiful for all generations.
The volume contains the stories:
When Michel organized the great cleanup of Katthult and caught the Maduskan in the wolf pit
Just don’t skimp, said Michel from Lönneberga
When Michel performed a heroic deed that made all of Lönneberga rejoice and all his pranks were forgiven and forgotten
