176 pages with more than 200 illustrations. Hardcover. 24 cm.

Impressive fjords, picturesque towns, fascinating cities, magnificent glaciers, and waterfalls – that's what Norway stands for. Its breathtaking natural beauty not only invites you to explore the Scandinavian country, but also provides a striking backdrop for its railway. It's no wonder that in recent years, Norway has evolved from an insider tip to a popular travel destination among railway enthusiasts. Karl-W. Koch has traveled to the country several times himself and taken copious photographs. In this book, he recounts his experiences along Norway's railways with impressive photos.

Karl-Wilhelm Koch , born in 1952, has long been considered a profound expert on railways around the world. He lives in the Eifel region and, before retiring, taught chemistry, environmental technology, and mathematics. In addition to numerous publications in specialist journals and books, a new, independent magazine (currently titled "FERN-Express") on the subject of "Railways Abroad" was launched in 1986, and the publisher remains its editor-in-chief to this day. After numerous trips overseas, European and German destinations have also been on his itinerary in recent decades. In addition to railway motifs, atmospheric landscapes and people also frequently appear in his camera's viewfinder.
