By Sigridur Sif Gylfadottir and Satu Rämö

160 pages with 112 color images and 32 color drawings. Paperback. 20 x 26 cm.

This knitting pattern book is a cheerful homage to the Icelandic sweater

The colorful Icelandic sweaters are known for their great patterns and for keeping us warm even in the depths of winter:
This special knitting book contains 13 round-yoke sweater patterns in various colorways. The two authors – two passionate knitting friends, one a beginner, the other an experienced knitter – have used their diverse skills to create clear, understandable instructions suitable for all levels. Numerous photos and stories about Iceland's "national costume" and the locals who wear it, about the yarns, and about the lives of Icelandic sheep that produce the uniquely robust wool, provide new insights into the world of traditional lopapeysa.
