Look inside the book

Kerstin Langenberger , born in 1982 in the Rhineland, spent six years in Iceland, studying environmental management and tourism. She regularly works as a hut warden on the Laugavegur hiking trail and has gained a close understanding of the island's sensitive natural environment on numerous hikes. Besides writing, her greatest passions are nature conservation and landscape and northern lights photography.

Olaf Krüger is a photojournalist specializing in Iceland and India. He produces slide shows on both topics, organizes lecture series, and publishes travel reports. He lives in Stuttgart.
