Author and photographer Thomas Krämer has had close ties to the Nordic region since his first trip to Scandinavia in 1983 and was editor-in-chief of the Scandinavian magazine Nordis. He also enjoys motorcycling through the Alps and other interesting regions, but also travels on foot, by bike, or on skis. His previous publications include "Highlights Sweden," "Picturesque Norway," and "Time for the Best - Southern Sweden."
For him, traveling means “discovering new things and finding beauty in the details.”
Hans-Joachim Spitzenberger holds a doctorate in biology and has, among other things, spent several research stays in the wilderness of Spitsbergen, which instilled his fascination with the polar region. He then discovered Norway as a whole, as well as Antarctica, Africa, India, the South Seas, and South America, as travel destinations. He travels to regions inaccessible by land as an expedition leader on expedition cruise ships.
Carsten Dohme is a geographer. He founded his first company in 1995. Since then, he has worked as an art director, producer, editor, copywriter, and travel journalist with a focus on storytelling for renowned publishing groups and advises tourism organizations on the development of applications and processes for tourism marketing. "At home in the north," his topics range from northern Europe to North America. However, if you turn the world map upside down, this recently also applies to southern Africa. And Carsten Dohme loves to see the world from a different perspective.
Hans Günther Meurer lives near Hamburg as a freelance travel journalist and works for book and magazine publishers. His books include "Norway - Fjords, Mountains, Midsummer Night"; he is also co-author of the book "Highlights Scandinavia." But he loves not only the north, but also France and the region around Lake Garda.
Photographer Petra Woebke travels to the most remote corners of the world on her professional research, along with her husband and team partner Klaus-Peter Woebke. As a landscape photographer, she has developed a passion for sensitive portraits and reportage photography of the land and its people. She has published numerous books and calendars. After many years of being fascinated by the South Seas, she recently turned her attention to the North. The unique light at these latitudes and the Arctic ice captivated her.
