Emma O'Kelly has been an editor at Wallpaper magazine for several years and also writes for magazines such as the Telegraph, the Financial Times, and Condé Nast Traveller. She has written numerous design and travel articles on Scandinavia and discovered the fascination of saunas during a trip to Finland in 2016.

Maija Astikainen is a photographer. Her photo series have been published in numerous magazines, and she has contributed photos to several travel guides. She currently works for Finland's largest travel magazine, Mondo. Maija is a sauna enthusiast and wild swimmer. When traveling, she packs her tent sauna into the back of her motorhome and sweats in it wherever she goes.
