By Kurt Tucholsky with pictures by Hans Traxler

174 pages with 60 color illustrations. Paperback.

A summer love in Sweden. Told with inimitably grace and amusement, floating like a butterfly and sun-drenched like summer itself. Since its publication in 1931, lovers have repeatedly given each other this cheerfully melancholic book, full of amorous follies and enchantments. Hans Traxler has masterfully illustrated Tucholsky's story with 60 pictures. The result is a magnificent volume. Images and text are beautifully intertwined.
"Hans Traxler's images not only complement Tucholsky's text in the finest way - they also tell it further in a wonderful way." Norddeutscher Rundfunk
