Carina Middendorf is from Svenljunga, Sweden, and has lived in Germany since 1993. She studied social work in Gothenburg and worked for several years as a social worker before founding the language school "Svenska Intensiv" in Hamburg in 2003. Her twins are being raised bilingually, meaning Swedish continues to be a living language for them, even at home.
Elizabet Gerber Andelius was born in Eksjö, Sweden, and moved to Germany in 1989. The former insurance saleswoman has been teaching Swedish since 2007, drawing her ideas and inspiration for her lessons from her daily life with her four bilingual children. Over time, she has become a true grammar freak.
