As a child, Inga Mallwitz wanted to be an author or journalist. However, she never truly realized this dream and was unable to fully develop her creativity. It wasn't until the birth of her first daughter in 2015 that her passion for handcrafting and blogging was ignited, and she began sewing for her. After the birth of her second daughter, her love and passion for knitting took over, almost completely replacing sewing. With the birth of her son, she also added clothing for boys. Since then, she has been trying to inspire undecided yet curious people to knit with beginner-friendly patterns and a simple yet slightly playful style.
Today, Inga lives with her family in the beautiful north of Schleswig-Holstein and loves the Nordic and Scandinavian style, which is reflected in her designs.
Alexandra Sakota is a designer of uncomplicated yet fashionable accessories and clothing for all ages. As a mother of two, she creates practical, everyday designs that are also suitable for knitters. Her mission is to avoid sewing separate pieces together. Alexandra rediscovered knitting in 2014 and has been hooked ever since. She knits every day—everything except socks!
"Knitting is my yoga. It relaxes me and at the same time gives me the opportunity to give free rein to my creativity, to develop new designs, and to let things come to life."
