Hans Strand is an award-winning landscape photographer from Sweden. He has taken unique photographs of arctic regions, deserts, and primeval forests around the world. His most recent photo book on Iceland was published by Frederking & Thaler.
Bård Løken , born in 1964 in Vadsø, is a Norwegian photographer from Elverum. Since 1985, he has dedicated himself to photography, particularly landscape and nature photography. He has illustrated numerous books and collaborated with well-known Norwegian authors.
Hans-Joachim Spitzenberger holds a doctorate in biology and has, among other things, spent several research stays in the wilderness of Spitsbergen, which instilled his fascination with the polar region. He then discovered Norway as a whole, as well as Antarctica, Africa, India, the South Seas, and South America, as travel destinations. He travels to regions inaccessible by land as an expedition leader on expedition cruise ships.
