Smålands Glögg is a mulled wine made with lingonberry and apple wine from the southern Swedish province of the same name. Wild lingonberries grow there to give the glögg its aromatic, full character. Cinnamon, cloves, and coriander give it its balanced spice.
The word "Glögg" is the shortened form of "glödgat vin" and actually means mulled wine. Glögg is sometimes also called "Swedish punch" or "Swedish mulled wine."
Glögg is traditionally drunk during Advent, especially on St. Lucia's Day. It is served with Lussekatter (sweet yeast rolls with saffron) and gingerbread, such as Nyåkers. During the pre-Christmas season, glögg, including non-alcoholic versions , is available throughout Sweden at any time of day.

We recommend serving Vinfabriken Smålandsglögg in a mug with a spoon, following Swedish tradition. Cover the bottom of the mug with finely chopped almonds and raisins and fill it with gently warmed glögg.

Smålandsglögg pairs perfectly with Nyåker gingerbread . It also tastes delicious chilled, for example, mixed with sparkling wine.
