Erkers Marie Persson is one of Sweden's most famous artists. She was born in Stockholm in 1954 and lives in Åkerö, Leksand. Since 1987, she has presented Sweden's romantic side annually at Sverigealmanackan , and has become internationally well-known as a result.
In addition to calendars, she also illustrates children's books, produces ceramic products and Swedish flags with base mounts, decorates matchboxes, and much more. You can visit her shop in Tallberg, Dalarna, or purchase her puzzles and calendars from us.

For almost 40 years, the images for the Swedish Almanac were painted exclusively by Erkers Marie Persson. In recent years, her eldest daughter , Erkers Linda Leander, has also been involved in painting for the almanac.
The motifs are taken from the beautiful Swedish landscape. The calendar is framed with the respective landscape flower, and on the back, you can read about the location depicted in Swedish, English, and German.
