From infusion to delight
A sauna can do much more than just make people sweat! In this highly unusual cookbook from the cold north of Europe, the two authors demonstrate that the Finns are rightly considered a little crazy. With their portraits of Finland's most beautiful and strangest saunas, they whet your appetite for sauna evenings with friends, while at the same time, with over 90 easy-to-follow recipes (even without a sauna), they whet your appetite for insanely delicious dishes from hot ovens.
The perfect gift for sauna lovers and anyone who wants to become one.
"The title doesn't oversell; this very special book is truly a delight. The presentation alone is high-quality and appealing, and then it goes on to introduce and describe 19 special saunas, spread across Finland, with their history and peculiarities. 90 regional recipes are assigned to each sauna – and are truly useful, simple instructions for good, delicious, sometimes even crazy Finnish dishes, braised in the firebox above the sauna stove or roasted on the stones."
